Check, Call, Chop

George Lind raised with the button, and Viacheslav Zhukov called from the big blind. Zhukov proceeded to check-call bets on every street as the board ran {8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, and the hands were opened.

Lind: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} - High
Zhukov: {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} - Low

Chop-chop.

Lind Closes the Gap a Bit

Viacheslav Zhukov came in raising before the flop, and George Lind called the extra bet to see a flop. It came {8-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}, and Lind check-called a bet. Both players checked the {A-Diamonds} turn, and the {5-Clubs} filled out the board on the river. Lind took the lead now with a bet of his own, and Zhukov quickly surrendered.

Lind is almost back to 2 million with plenty of fight left in him.

Another All In!

...and chop.

Viacheslav Zhukov raised with the button, George Lind defended his big blind, and the flop came down {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Both players checked. The turn was the {5-Clubs}, and Lind led out. Zhukov called.

The river was the {q-Clubs}, Lind led out, Zhukov raised, and Lind got the rest of his chips in the middle!

Lind: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} - Low
Zhukov: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades} - High

Chop suey.

All In!

...and a chop.

The pot was raised preflop, and the flop came down {4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Viacheslav Zhukov bet out, George Lind raised, and Zhukov called. The turn was the {8-Spades}, and the two got into a raising war until Lind was all in.

Lind: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Zhukov: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}

The hand looked like a chop, but Lind could scoop with a three on the river for a wheel. The {10-Clubs} was a brick however, and it was indeed a choped pot.

Lind Gets Quartered, Getting Low

Viacheslav Zhukov raised preflop, George Lind three-bet, and Zhukov called.

Lind led the betting the whole way, firing out bullets on every street of the {6-Spades} {10-Clubs} {7-Spades} {8-Spades} {2-Clubs} board. When Zhukov called the last shell, the cards were on their backs.

Showdown
Lind: {A-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {5-Spades}
Zhukov: {A-} {3-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}

Lind can only get a quarter of this pot for half of the low half, and he's been reduced to about 1.2 million as Zhukov scoops up the other 75% of that pot.

Three Bets on the Turn

George Lind raised with the button, Viacheslav Zhukov defended his big blind, and the flop came down {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{j-Spades}. Both players checked. The turn was the {10-Hearts}, and Zhukov led out. Lind made it two bets, Zhukov made it three bets, and Lind tank-folded, giving Zhukov a decisive chip lead.

Viacheslav Zhukov raised before the flop, and George Lind made the call to see a flop.

It came out {7-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}, and Lind check-called a bet. He did the same following the {2-Diamonds} turn and {7-Spades} river, committing a total of 840,000 chips to this pot. Zhukov had it; he turned up {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}, and his quads were the nuts.

Lind is down to about 2.7 million now, and that gives Zhukov the lead with the other 3.305 million

Lind is Scooping

George Lind raised with the button, and Viacheslav Zhukov called from the big blind. The flop fell {7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}, and Zhukov check-called a bet from Lind. Both players checked the {5-Clubs} on the turn, and Zhukov check-called another bet after the {9-Clubs} came on the river.

Lind opened {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a jack-high straight, and scooped the pot.
