Berlin then opened his button with a raise - which appeared to be for 400,000 - to prompt Akkari to kick his cards to the muck.

Akkari limped and Berlin checked to see a flop fall with Akkari leading out from the button for 200,000. Berlin shoved and Akkari swiftly folded.

Akkari checked over to Berlin who fired out 250,000 to prompt a call from Akkari as the landed on the turn. Checking once again, Akkari would see a free river of the once Berlin checked as well, and when both players tapped the table, Akkari's was enough to claim the pot.

Nachman Berlin must have wanted the satisfaction of claiming the first pot - or the fact he had a decent hand or read on Akkari - and consequently pushed all in.
