Pair of Eights for Akkari

Nachman Berlin limped the button and Andre Akkari checked to see the flop fall {7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Both players checked as the {Q-Diamonds} landed on the turn and both players checked again.

The {A-Diamonds} landed on the river and again both players checked to see Akkari table his {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} to claim the pot.

Akkari Raises, Berlin Shoves

Andre Akkari entered the pot for 400,000 from the button only to have Nachman Berlin three-bet jam.

With Akkari at risk, he opted to fold his hand and survive for at least one more hand.

Turn-Bet Win for Nachman

Nachman Berlin limped his button and Andre Akkari checked his option before both players checked the {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop as the {7-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Akkari checked for a second time, and when Berlin bet out 200,000, Akkari angled his cards to the muck.

Akkari Clips Nachman

Andre Akkari limped in from the button and Nachman Berlin checked his option to see a {4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop fall with Berlin leading for 225,000.

Akkari smooth-called as the {J-Diamonds} landed on the turn and both players checked. The {J-Clubs} on the river brought about a check from Berlin before Akkari slid out a bet of 300,000 which was met with a fold from Berlin.

Berlin Bets Turn

Nachman Berlin limped the button and Andre Akkari checked his option to see a {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{A-Hearts} flop fall.

The action was checked round to see the {A-Spades} land on the turn, and once Akkari checked, Berlin bet out 200,000 to force a fold from the Brazilian.

Some Chips Changing Hands

Andre Akkari bumped it up to 400,000 from the button and Nachman Berlin mucked his hand.

Berlin then opened his button with a raise - which appeared to be for 400,000 - to prompt Akkari to kick his cards to the muck.

Akkari limped and Berlin checked to see a {3-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} flop fall with Akkari leading out from the button for 200,000. Berlin shoved and Akkari swiftly folded.

Aces-Up for Berlin

Nachman Berlin limped and Andre Akkari checked to see a {Q-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop fall.

Akkari checked over to Berlin who fired out 250,000 to prompt a call from Akkari as the {A-Hearts} landed on the turn. Checking once again, Akkari would see a free river of the {7-Clubs} once Berlin checked as well, and when both players tapped the table, Akkari's {5-Hearts}{4-} was enough to claim the pot.

Berlin Ships It

Andre Akkari opened to 400,000 from the button on the very first hand of the new level.

Nachman Berlin must have wanted the satisfaction of claiming the first pot - or the fact he had a decent hand or read on Akkari - and consequently pushed all in.

Akkari folded, and Berlin was pushed the pot.
