We've spotted Tom Dwan at this event playing at table #37 and he already has almost double the size of the starting stack, sitting with over 8,000 chips.

Huck Seed's Plight

We just watched a short-stacked Huck Seed split a pot with Tom Dwan on a board. Seed was all in by the time the turn card rolled around, and his ended up being good enough to take the high half. Dwan's took the low.

Barlow Scoops Dwan

Tom "durrrr" Dwan raised preflop and was re-raised by Todd Barlow. Dwan called. The flop came down , and Dwan check-called a bet from Barlow. The turned, and Dwan check-raised Barlow this time. Barlow called.

Taking Dwan's Action

Josh Arieh limped into the pot under the gun, and he was followed in by Steve Zolotow, two unknown players, and Shaun Deeb in the small blind.

Tom "durrrr" Dwan led out from the small blind on every street as the board ran . His opponent looked up him all three times, then mucked when Dwan tabled for trip aces.

Chris Oliver limped into the pot under the gun, and Steve Zolotow looked confused. "He limps in," Zolotow said to himself. "I gotta figure out what that means. I haven't seen one of those before.

Dwan Gets Right to Work

Steve Zolotow opened with a raise, and he found calls from both Tom Dwan and George Lind III to go three-handed to the flop. It came , and Zolotow's continuation bet was called by both opponents to bring them to the turn.

Ace King Isn't Treating Dwan Well

Earlier in the tournament, we reported that Tom Dwan lost a big hand to Amit Makhija when Makhija flopped a set against Dwan's AK. Well Dwan must have been feeling deja vu all over again with this hand that just knocked him out.

Amit "amak316" Makhija has just scored a big double up against Tom "Durrrr" Dwan. The two players got a ton of chips in preflop, with Makhija all in for a little over 21,000.

Yet another prominent American poker player has appeared in the Pavillion Room in the form of one Thomas Dwan, and he's now up to 9,500 after eliminating an opponent. All the money was in the middle preflop.

Dwan Loses a Big One

A player from under the gun raised to 400 and Dwan, from the cutoff, made it 1,300 to go. His opponent called and stood pat as first to act. Dwan decided to draw one and called his opponents bet of 1,000.

Dwan and Lew Among Late Eliminations

After doubling Erik Seidel, Randy Lew was left with short-stacked. We're sorry to report that he has been eliminated from this tournament, though we don't have the details on said elimination.

Dwan Catches a Lady to Bust Boeree

Action folded to Tom Dwan in the cutoff and he put in a raise to 1,200. Randy Lew made the call on the button and Liv Boeree promptly raised to 7,000 from the blinds.

Dwan Busts Alaei

Tom Dwan opened under the gun only to have Liv Boeree reraise to 2,500 from middle position. Daniel Alaei then four-bet to 6,000 on the button, Dwan made it around 22,000 to go, and Boeree got out of the way.
