Cloutier Gets Slow-Rolled

Nivel 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

On a {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} board with four players in the hand and a pot of at least a few thousand, T.J. Cloutier fired 3,000 chips, third to act. The first two players called while the fourth, who was in the big blind position, flatted. The turn was the {8-Spades} and again it was checked to Cloutier who moved his opponent all in for his final 5,200. The player quickly made the call but wanted to see Cloutier's hand first. He rolled over {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} before his opponent flipped over {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Cloutier was not happy about getting slow-rolled and made the table perfectly clear that in this situation, the player to the left of the button has to show first. Some tried to argue but Cloutier assured them that this isn't a cash game and that it has worked this way at the World Series of Poker for years.

Regardless, Cloutier lost the pot and chipped down to 17,000.
