Sean Nguyen put out a bet from the cut off and received a call from Justin Pechie in the big blind. Both players got to see a {6-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. After Pechie checked, Nguyen put out a bet and Pechie threw a handful of chips in the pot. Pechie had intentions to raise and threw out enough chips to do so, but the dealer failed to notice and thought he simply called the bet from Nguyen. The dealer then burned and turned a {7-}. Pechie calmly told the dealer he had put out a raise and the floor was called. The floor was informed of the situation and declared that the raise counted and that the {7-} would be shuffled back into the deck and not count.

After everything was settled, we were still on the flop and action was on Nguyen who 4 bet into Pechie. Pechie called and we saw a {2-Hearts} appear as a new turn. Pechie then check-called a bet from Nguyen and both players were awarded the {A-Clubs} on the river. Where Pechie this time check-folded after Nguyen bet.

As Nguyen was stacking his chips he asked Pechie if the seven was any good to him. Pechie said it gave him a pair, and Nguyen admitted it gave him an open-ended straight draw. After further conversing between the two players we found out that Pechie had {7-}{9-} and Nguyen held {k-}{9-}.
