Flack Finds the Right Fold

Nivel 8

Stud:

We caught up with this hand as Layne Flack and two other opponents were on fifth street.

Flack: (X)(X) - {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Opponent # 1: (X)(X) - {K-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Opponent # 2: (X)(X) - {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

After opponent # 1 bet 1,000 and opponent # 2 raised to 2,000, Flack had a pained expression pass over his face and he reluctantly released his hand.

Opponent # 1 received the {9-Clubs} on sixth street, while opponent # 2 drew the {5-Clubs}. After another round of 1,000 bets went into the pot, both players squeezed their final down card and bet for a last time. Opponent # 1 flipped up the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for top two pair and opponent # 2 threw his cards away.

Flack broke into his usual wide grin and laughed as he told the winning player that "he folded two-pair, tens and fours, and a four flush." While the Layne Flack Show is known for hijinx at the table, chattering to opponents, and having an overall great time, this hand proved that the six-time WSOP bracelet winner known as "Back to Back" Flack is a highly skilled poker professional capable of making great reads in any variety of poker discipline.
