El EPT de PokerStars vuelve a Malta por primera vez desde 2016

PokerStars llevó por última vez su European Poker Tour (EPT) a la isla mediterránea de Malta en octubre de 2016, hace ya unos nueve años. Hay quien dice que el EPT Malta se ha hecho esperar bastante, y es por ello que esas personas estarán encantadas de saber que el festival aterrizará en el Casino de Malta de San Julián del 1 al 12 de octubre.

El EPT Malta arranca el 1 de octubre con el Main Event del PokerStars Open, 1.650 € de buy-in. Desde su lanzamiento, el PokerStars Open ha demostrado ser extremadamente popular entre los jugadores, ofreciendo a menudo premios de seis cifras a los campeones. Con seis vuelos iniciales, la edición maltesa del PokerStars Open podría acercarse al récord de 5.036 entradas del último EPT Barcelona.

En el propio Casino de San Julián habrá satélites en vivo para clasificarse al PokerStars Open. Además, todos los jugadores que lo deseen podrán canjear sus pases Silver Power Path para cubrir el buy-in de 1.650 € y obtener, así, algo de dinero para gastos.

Aunque el calendario del EPT Malta de PokerStars 2025 incluye torneos enormes, es el Main Event, de 5.300 € de buy-in el torneo que todos quieren jugar. El Main Event inaugural del EPT Malta, en octubre de 2015, contó con 651 jugadores y generó un bote de premios de 3.255.000 €. Niall Farrell se llevó la victoria y 534.330 € tras un pacto en el heads-up con Alen Bilic.

Doce meses después, Aliaksei Boika superó a un field de 468 jugadores y se llevó 355.700 € de un bote total de 2.340.000 €.

Con abundantes satélites en vivo y online, todo apunta a que el Main Event del EPT Malta de este año será el más grande hasta la fecha. Los satélites online desde 0,55 € conducen finalmente al Clasificatorio al Evento Principal del EPT Malta de 530 €, donde se garantiza un paquete por cada 7.900 € en el bote de premios. Dicho paquete incluye:

Asiento para el Main Event del EPT Malta de 5.300 €
Ocho noches de alojamiento para dos personas, con desayunos, en el InterContinental Malta Hotel
456 € acreditados en tu cuenta de PokerStars para cubrir gastos de viaje
