Dudakov Picks Off McTaggart on the River For Another Knockout
Nivel 9
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
In a blind versus blind battle, Paul McTaggart led out for 1,000 on the Q♠9♣A♦ flop and Dmitri Dudakov called.
McTaggart checked to Dudakov on the 3♠ turn, and Dudakov bet 3,600. McTaggart called and the 8♣ fell on the river.
Dudakov then bet 7,500, but this time McTaggart came back with an all-in shove for 21,100. Dudakov spent a few minutes in the tank before calling as McTaggart showed 9♦8♥ for two pair. Dudakov turned over Q♥3♥ for queens and threes to secure the pot and send McTaggart to the rail.
"Congratulations on winning Day 1," Jack Hardcastle told Dudakov while observing the table.
