Life Outside Poker is a podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.
In the 25th episode, Connor speaks with embattled poker pro Brad Booth about learning poker from his grandfather, climbing up stakes in Canada, living at the Bellagio and playing in Bobby's Room, bluffing Phil Ivey and getting cheated on Ultimate Bet.
Booth, who the poker community hasn't heard from for several years, opened up about his absence and going missing in 2020, as well as his gambling addiction and various poker debts to players like Doug Polk that he says he plans to make right.
"I got caught up in all of it and all I can try and do is make right now," he told PokerNews of his poker debts.
The Life Outside Poker podcast is available on major streaming platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, SoundCloud and iHeartRadio. You can also watch the interview with Brad Booth by heading to the PokerNews YouTube channel.
Players are going on another 15-minute break.
The field has grown to 87 players so far on Day 1b, with 59 remaining.

Ricardo Mateus moved all in for 7,700 from under the gun and Fraser Armstrong called on the button. Felice Minervini then reshoved in the big blind and Armstrong tanked for a minute before calling for his last 15,000.
Ricardo Mateus: A♣Q♥
Fraser Armstrong: 10♥10♣
Felice Minervini: 10♠10♦
"I'm not that bad," Mateus said as the flop came Q♠6♣8♦, giving him top pair and the lead.
"You still have outs," he told his two opponents, but they were left drawing dead after the 6♥ turn. The river was the J♦ and Mateus tripled up.
"It's because of the camera," Minervini joked with Mateus, pointing out the 888poker media that was recording Mateus.
"Stay there the entire tournament," Mateus said to the cameraman.

Bjorn Igeibert was all in for around 5,000 from early position as Josh Manley and Kevin Frame built a side pot on a flop of J♥2♠6♥.
Manley then led out for 12,000 from the small blind and Frame called in the hijack. The turn was the 10♠ and Manley moved all in. Frame quickly folded and Manley showed A♣A♠.
Igeibert turned over J♠9♥ and needed to improve to stay alive, but he missed the K♣ river as Manley scooped the entire pot to send Igeibert to the rail.
"What a shock, aces," tablemate Nick Eastwood told him.
