Diaz Blasts Simpson Off Kings
Nivel 25
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Carlos Diaz limped in from middle position with 8♠8♦ as Ian Simpson woke up with K♥K♦ in the small blind. He raised to 700,000 and Diaz called.
The flop came Q♦J♦2♣ and Simpson continued for 350,000. Diaz then raised to 1,000,000 and Simpson used multiple time banks before laying down his kings.
Simpson got some of those chips back the next hand after Diaz raised to 160,000 in early position. Simpson three-bet to 420,000 on the button with A♣8♣ and Diaz folded A♠4♠.
