In a blind versus blind battle with around 10,000 in the pot, Jorge Ufano led out for 7,500 on a board of 2♦3♣J♣6♥ and Luc Bazley called.
The river was the 7♦ and Ufano bet another 26,000. Bazley again called and Ufano showed 4♠3♠ for a pair of threes. Bazley turned over 5♥5♦ and took down the big pot with his pair of fives.
With around 30,000 in the middle on a board of 8♥3♠Q♥J♠, a player in the big blind moved all in for around 25,000 and Gavin Keane quickly called in the cutoff.
The at-risk player showed Q♣8♣ for top two pair, but Keane had 3♣3♦ for a flopped set. The river was the 7♥ and Keane secured the big pot to send his opponent to the rail.
Four players saw a flop of 4♦9♦10♥ where the player on the button bet 1,000. Karenis Georgiadi folded his big blind, while the under-the-gun player raised to 6,000. Both Manuel Ledesma in the cutoff and the button called.
All three players checked the 3♣ turn. Action then checked to Ledesma on the 5♦ river and he bet 16,000, enough to force out both opponents as the defending champion continued building his big stack.
Oleh Pritsak moved all in for 6,000 from the big blind and Ahmed Abdella put him at risk in the cutoff.
