Youness Barakat made it 875,000 to go under the gun before Tom Vogelsang raised the pot in the small blind. With the action back on Barakat, he shoved all in for 3,500,000 which Vogelsang quickly called.

It folded to Fabian Riebau-Schmithals in the small blind, who raised to 750,000. Sean Rafael instantly called in the big blind, after which he snap-called RIebau-Schmithals' shove for 1,250,000 on the 10♥5♦3♥ flop as well.

Riebau-Schmithals still had the best hand with ace-high, which remained so on the 4♠ turn. However, the 6♥ river saw Rafael hit one of his many outs. His flush eliminated Riebau-Schmithals in fifth place and play continued four-handed.

Sean Rafael was first to act and put in a raise to 700,000. Nino Pansier called in the cutoff, as did Hossein Ensan in the big blind.

The flop fell 2♦4♣Q♥, where Ensan led out for the pot of 2,400,000, leaving only 375,000 behind. Rafael then shoved all in, Pansier folded, and Ensan quickly called.

RIebau-Schmithals put in a call, but quickly folded once Vogelsang announced a pot-sized bet on the J♦ river.

Nino Pansier raised his button to 700,000. Ronald Keijzer then three-bet to 2,300,000 in the small blind, leaving only 350,000 back. Harry Casagrande sat in the big blind and got involved with a four-bet jam for 3,300,000.

Pansier snap-called and Keijzer quickly threw in his final few chips as well.

The stacks were carefully counted to determine who would get eight- and seventh-place money, whereafter the chips were shipped to Pansier and play continued six-handed.

Ensan sized up to 2,300,000 on the 2♣ turn, but, undeterred, Vogelsang kept calling.

The pair then checked down on the 3♣ river, with Vogelsang tabling A♥J♠6♥5♠ for the winning hand.
