Altergott Eliminated by Markholt

Nivel 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Lee Markholt opened from the button and Max Altergott moved all in out of the big blind. Markholt immediately called with {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Altergott would need help as he held {A-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

The dealer quickly ran the entire board and it came {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Markholt's jacks were more than enough to eliminate Altergott.

Jake Schindler Doubles
Jake Schindler Doubles

Jake Schindler raised to 6,000 from under the gun only to have Kevin MacPhee three-bet the action to 15,500 from the next seat over. The action trickled back to Schindler who thought for about a minute before moving all in for his last 42,500. MacPhee instantly called and the hands were turned over.

Schindler: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
MacPhee: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The board fell {3-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{2-Spades}, giving Schindler trip kings for the double. He now has about 90,000 while MacPhee has dropped to around 145,000.

Kenney Wins With Nothing

Nivel 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

We got to the table with approximately 30,000 in the pot and the board complete and showing {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. Darren Elias put out a bet of 16,200 and was quickly called by Bryn Kenney. Elias snap-mucked and Kenney slid his cards to the dealer, not having to show the winning hand since Elias mucked.

Stern Doubles Through Failla

Nivel 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Will Failla raised to 6,000 from middle position and Zvi Stern three-bet all in for 21,000 from the cutoff. The button and blinds folded and Failla tossed out a call.

Failla: {A-Spades}{4-Spades}
Stern: {A-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The flop came down {J-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, giving both players a pair of aces. Stern still led with his queen kicker, but that all changed when Failla made two pair with the {4-Hearts} on the turn. Stern needed help to stay alive on the river and he received exactly that with the {J-Spades}. His aces and jacks with a queen kicker secured him the double and he lived to fight another day. He now has about 55,000 while Failla has dropped to 238,000.
