The Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open (LHPO) returns to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, Jan. 22 through Feb. 11, 2015, held in the resort’s ballrooms. The series will feature 21 main events along with several secondary events and qualifiers. The exciting live poker action culminates with the Seminole Hard Rock WPT Lucky Hearts $3 Million Guaranteed Championship beginning Feb. 5-11, with a $3,500 buy-in and three starting flights. The live streamed Championship final table will be held at the resort’s Paradise Live theater in Seminole Paradise.
The annual series kicks-off on Jan. 22 at 11a.m. ET with a four-day $570 buy-in deep-stack no-limit hold'em event featuring a $1 million guaranteed prize pool with six starting flights.
Super Bowl weekend will bring even more action with the WPTDeepStacks (WPTDS), which will kick off its 2015 tour at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. WPTDS is a one-of-a-kind partnership between the world’s most established poker tour, WPT®, and the world’s fastest growing poker tour, DSPT. The $1,100 buy-in, $300,000 Guarantee WPTDeepStacks-Hollywood will start Jan. 29 at 12 p.m. ET in the resort’s ballrooms.
Other highlight tournaments include a $350 buy-in deep-stack no-limit hold'em, $250,000 guarantee with five starting flights, from Jan. 25-28 and a two-day $150 buy-in no-limit hold’em $150,000 guarantee with eight starting flights from Jan. 28-31.
Satellite events for the Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Jan. 22-Feb. 7, 2015.
Registration for all LHPO events will be open Dec. 15, 2015. To participate, players must obtain a free “Wild Card” at the Player’s Club or in The Poker Room at Seminole Paradise, located on State Road 7 (U.S. 441) in Hollywood, Florida. After a middle-position open to 1,200, Konstantinos Nanos made it 3,200 in the hijack and was called by cutoff Ankush Mandavia. Daniel Colman cold four-bet all in from the small blind for 17,375, and the opener got out of the way. Nanos shoved as well for 25,000, causing Mandavia to grin at the action and count out his stack. He looked to have in the neighborhood of 80,000, but he decided to let his hand go after a minute or so.

The two were racing, and it was Colman coming out ahead as he paired his ace on the board.
At the 2015 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure it was Steve O'Dwyer who took down the $100,000 Super High Roller for $1.87 million. O'Dwyer becomes the second player ever to win a Super High Roller after having won an EPT Main Event, and he'll be an early front runner in many Player of the Year rankings.
With 35,000 already in the pot and the board complete and showing , Bulent Demirtas checked the action over to Dani Stern who slid out a stack of blue T5,000 chips. It was enough to set Demirtas all in and he would make the call after a moment of thought.
Stern turned over and Demirtas shook his head, a sad look coming over his face, as he turned over one card... the . That was enough to send the German to the rail. Stern moved to 125,000 in chips and was one of the top stacks in the room after the hand.
Alex Millar bet 9,000 from middle position after Sergey Pronin checked to him on a board of , and Pronin made the call. Millar showed for top pair, and Pronin couldn't beat it.
Michael Aron opened the action with a raise to 1,000 and Michael Katz, who was one to his left, reraised to 2,500. Brian Yoon was sitting on a moderately short stack of slightly more than 10,000 and moved all in.
It was folded over to Roy Bhasin who asked Katz how much he had. "About 23 total," Katz responded. Bhasin thought for a bit before announcing that he was also all in. Katz shook his head and slid his cards to the dealer.
"I don't like where I'm at," said Yoon, as he turned over . Bhasin held and was looking to knock out the WSOP bracelet winner.
The board ran out and Yoon said "good luck" as he stood up. "Thanks," answered Bhasin, who was sitting on an above average stack of 65,000 after the hand.
We didn't see the action, but Naoya Kihara was pushed the stack formerly belonging to Radoslaw Morawiec. Kihara's was in front of him, while Morawiec's was swept into the muck shortly after we arrived.
