Markkos Ladev raised to 50,000 from early position with Yves Bianchetti calling from the cutoff and Enrico Coppola defending his big blind.

After it checked to Ladev on the 26K flop, he bet 60,000 which only Bianchetti called.

The turn came the 9 and Ladev's bet of 175,000 got a quick fold from Bianchetti.

Watson Seeking Third EPT Title on Final Day of €10,000 EPT High Roller

Today marks the third and final day of the 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona €10,000 EPT High Roller where just 28 players from 431-strong field will return to their seats at the Casino Barcelona, all in the hunt to lift the trophy and take home the €818,800 first-place prize.

After two days and 22 levels of poker, Thomas Eychenne is currently leading the way with an impressive stack of 1,755,000. Coming in just outside the top ten is Canada’s Mike Watson, who enters the day eleventh in chips with 735,000. Watson has almost $30,000,000 in tracked live tournament earnings, including two podium finishes at the 2024 edition of EPT Barcelona and the two EPT titles he already has on the mantlepiece.

There are plenty of others to keep an eye on moving forward, including Jon Kyte (690,000). Sirzat Hissou (655,000), Calvin Anderson (480,000), Boris Angelov (380,000), and poker Hall of Famer Erik Seidel (310,000), who is near the bottom of the chip counts but has plenty of experience and can not be counted out.

The action is scheduled to get underway at noon local time. The blinds will resume on Level 23 at 10,000/25,000 and a 25,000 big blind ante. The levels will remain at 50 minutes throughout for the time being, with a 15-minute break every two or three levels. Then, a 45-minute dinner break is scheduled after Level 29. Each player will receive additional time extensions to begin the day as well as at the final table, but this is subject to change.

There is still plenty of money up for grabs as the day unfolds, with the remaining players already having locked up €25,150. There will be significant pay jumps throughout the day, with the winner taking home a cool €818,800.
