Liu Cracks Periaux on the River
Nivel 15
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
With around 45,000 in the pot on a board of 5♠A♠8♣10♦, Ludovic Periaux bet 17,000 from the button and Chun Keat Liu moved all in for 52,000 in the big blind. Periaux took his time before calling.
Liu turned over 9♣7♠ for a straight draw, while Periaux was ahead with K♦K♥. The 6♥ fell on the river to give Liu his straight and Periaux handed over the double up.
