Winz Wins the Flip
Nivel 32
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Weiran Pu opened to 400,000 from under the gun and action folded to Berthold Winz in the small blind. Winz three-bet to 800,000 and Pu moved all in. Winz snap called, putting his entire 4,000,000 stack at risk, and the players flipped their cards.
Berthold Winz: A♥Q♦
Weiran Pu: 4♠4♥
Pu was hoping to hold to knock out Winz and make the final table, but Winz won the hand on the Q♣9♣3♦A♦J♦ runout after picking up two pair.
The players resumed hand for hand and ten still remain in the tournament.
