Some Recent Eliminations

Nivel 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action has stagnated as we edge closer to the bubble; currently there are 108 remaining players, with play stopping today when the field reduces to 98.

Mokhtar Sends Another One Packing

Nivel 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With just under 80,000 in the pot with a completed board of A10739, Tibor Nagygyorgy picked a bad time to move all in from the big blind as he was snap-called for his last 30,000 by Rayane Mokhtar under-the-gun.

Tibor Nagygyorgy: J9All in
Rayane Mokhtar: AA

Nagygyorgy had smashed right into Mokhtar's set of aces and he became the latest elimination as the bubble is very close.

Sandberg Puts the Pressure on Douch

Nivel 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Marte Sandberg opened to 16,000 from under the gun and Badr Douch three-bet to 39,000. Sandberg four-bet to 85,000 which sent Douch into the tank.

A player at the table called the clock on Douch after around 2-minutes, and with around 5 seconds remaining, Douch folded.

On the same table in the next hand, Daniel Camelo open-jammed his remaining 80,000 stack from a middle position and picked up the blinds.

Boeken Still Battling

Nivel 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Dutch crusher Noah Boeken is still alive in the event and may still be so because of a recent big fold.

The board read AJJ107 with about 120,000 in the middle and Boeken checked to Fernando Valverde in late position.

Valverde moved all in for about the size of the pot, putting Boeken to a decision, as he had 200,000 behind.

Boeken thought for about a minute but elected to preserve his chips, sending the pot to Valverde.

Seduikis Doubles Through Chong

Nivel 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Svajunas Seduikis moved all in from early position for 44,000 and was called by Victor Chong in the cutoff.

Svajunas Seduikis: A6All in
Victor Chong: KK

Seduikis has seemingly run into it, but after the dealer spread a flop of 663, Seduikis had incredibly flopped trip sixes.

The board completed 52 and Seduikis stayed alive in the tournament.

Gozalo Gets a Double

Nivel 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Robin Ylitalo raised to 12,000 from an early position when Juan Gozalo moved all in from the cutoff for his remaining 59,000 stack. Christian Rudolph re-jammed from the button and covered Gozalo. Ylitalo folded, and the players went heads-up.

Juan Gozalo: KQAll in
Christian Rudolph: AQ

Rudolph was looking strong, but the 9x6x10x2xJx runout gave Gozalo a straight.

Beresford Baffled Then Busted by Winz

Nivel 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Conor Beresford
Conor Beresford

After Berthold Winz opened in the hijack to 17,000, Conor Beresford moved all in for about 135,000 from the big blind.

A misunderstanding of communication led Beresford to think that Winz had folded his cards as Winz showed 86, but with Beresford still holding his cards and about to muck them, Winz insisted that he said "call" with the raggedy holding, saying he thought he had pocket eights.

Beresford seemed stunned but placed his holding on the table as well and he was now at risk, but ahead.

Conor Beresford: A10All in
Berthold Winz: 86

The flop came 432 adding a gutshot straight draw to Winz's list of outs.

One of them came in on the turn with the 6, leaving Beresford drawing to an ace or a ten.

The Q on the river was neither of those and after the confusing hand, Beresford was surprised to be heading to the rail after thinking he was picking up some chips with the bubble approaching.
