Nicholas Palma
Nicholas Palma

Renato Grossi opened to 50,000 from under the gun and Nick Palma three-bet shoved for 380,000 from the button. Grossi called with a covering stack to put Palma at risk.

Nick Palma: KQ All in
Renato Grossi: AK

Palma was in rough shape with a dominated king and found no help on the 243 flop.

"I don't want it on the turn. I want it on the river," Palma commented as the inconsequential 10 turn was dealt.

Palma put on his backpack and stood up after the turn, at which point the miraculous Q river was dealt to give Palma a full double up.

Before scooping the pot, Palma mentioned to his tablemates that the backpack trick he pulled off was known back home as the "Rob Brown Walkaway".

Chauskin Takes From Leibgorin

Nivel 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Around 85,000 was in the middle already in a hand between Natan Chauskin under the gun and Michel Leibgorin in the big blind.

The flop read AJ3, and Leibgorin check-called a bet of 75,000 from Chauskin.

The 2 rolled off on the turn, and Leibgorin again check-called, this time versus a down-sized bet of 45,000.

The A river completed the board. Leibgorin changed approach and led out with a bet of 180,000, earning a snap-call from Chauskin. Leibgorin mucked his hand and although Chauskin didn't have to show anything to take the pot, he flashed the A.
