Lonis hit top pair on the A♥K♣8♣ flop to take a big lead in the hand, while the 5♥ turn left Santerne already drawing dead by the 8♠ river as Lonis doubled up.
Thomas Santerne raised to 30,000 on the button before Jesse Lonis moved all in for 155,000 in the small blind. Harvey Jackson gave it some thought in the big blind but eventually folded, while Santerne also mucked as Lonis showed A♦10♣.
The next hand, Kayhan Mokri raised to 30,000 in the hijack and Lonis moved all in again, this time for 210,000 on the button. Mokri quickly folded and Lonis showed K♦Q♣.
Lonis then raised to 32,000 in the hijack and Elton Ostreni called in the big blind. The flop came K♠9♣5♠ and Lonis bet 33,000.
Ostreni called to see the 2♥ turn, then folded when Lonis bet another 92,000.
Elton Ostreni raised to 30,000 from middle position and Kayhan Mokri called on the button.
The flop came 6♠8♦4♦ and Ostreni continued for 25,000, which Mokri called. The turn was the 5♦ and Ostreni opted to bet 40,000. Mokri called once more.
The river came the A♦ and Ostreni switched to a check. Mokri bet 90,000 and Ostreni quickly called. Mokri had 9♠9♦ for pocket nines that had hit a flush on the river. Ostreni turned A♣10♦ for the higher flush with his ten.
Steve O'Dwyer moved all in for 150,000 in the small blind and Sam Greenwood called in the big blind.

O'Dwyer couldn't connect with the 9♦2♣9♥5♠5♦ board and Greenwood took the pot with the two pair on the board and his ace-kicker to send O'Dwyer, who won the opening €12,000 Cuatro Knockout event yesterday, to the rail.

Elton Ostreni raised to 24,000 under the gun and was called by Thomas Santerne on the button and small blind Jesse Lonis. Joakim Andersson then moved all in for 160,000 in the big blind, Ostreni folded, while Santerne quickly called. Lonis joined Ostreni in the muck.

Santerne had Andersson dominated as the board ran out 6♣2♣5♥K♠3♦, earning Santerne the pot with his queen-kicker and sending Andersson to the rail.
Following his near-fatal misclick the previous hand, Patrik Antonius was all in blind in the big blind for 4,000. Action folded around to Kayhan Mokri on the button, who asked for a count from Jean-Noel Thorel before shoving all in. Thorel called in the small blind for around 190,000 and the three players turned their cards.
The board ran out 5♣J♠Q♣K♣10♦ and Mokri turned the straight to leave the other two players drawing dead. Antonious and Thorel were both eliminated from the tournament, while Mokri chipped up to close to one million.
