Ostreni Turns the Nuts to Bust Davies
Nivel 11
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Elton Ostreni bet 15,000 from middle position on a flop of Q♦10♦8♥ and Thomas Santerne called in the big blind. Seth Davies then moved all in for 67,000 in early position and both opponents called.
Ostreni bet another 100,000 on the K♣ turn and Santerne got out of the way. Davies turned over A♦K♦ for top pair, but Ostreni had A♣J♥ for the nut straight. The river was the 10♥ and Davies was sent to the rail.
