Maue Doubles Through Dickerson

Jules Dickerson opened from under the gun to 4,000 and Leonard Maue defended the big blind.

Maue checked-raised the AAJ flop to 7,500 after Dickerson bet 3,000. Dickerson called the raise.

The A was turned and Maue checked. Dickerson bet 5,000 and Maue folded his hand.

A few hands later, players were already on a full Q5829 board with the cards on their backs. Maue was risk from the hijack against Dickerson in the cutoff. Maue had AQ which won against Dickerson's K2.

Action was followed from the 9J3 flop. Mikael Thuritz checked-called from the small blind after Paul Newey bet 3,000 from the hijack. The pot stood at around 15,000.

The K turn was checked by both players.

Thuritz bet 15,000 on the 6 river, which was quickly called by Newey.
Thuritz showed KxQ for top pair, but Newey turned over AA, taking the pot.

Thuritz Wins Against Newy

Mikael Thuritz raised to 4,000 from the cutoff and Paul Newey defended out of the big blind.

Newey check-called a bet of 4,000 from Thuritz on the 29A flop.

The 7 turn saw Newey lead out for 7,000, and Thuritz called.

The J came on the river and Newey check-folded to a bet of 15,000 from Thuritz.

Jesse Lonis raised to 3,500 from the cutoff with Morten Klein calling on the button, and Derk van Luijk defending his big blind.

After Van Luijk checked the 79K flop Lonis bet 5,500 with both Klein and Van Luijk calling.

Both Van Luijk and Lonis checked the 6 turn. Klein bet 22,000, Van Luijk folded, but Lonis check-shoved for 36,500, and Klein called.

Both players had top pair but it was Klein who was ahead with the higher kicker. Lonis did have a lot of outs going to the river, and when the 3 came on the river, Lonis improved to a king-high flush and doubled up.

Thorel Chips Away at Greenwood

Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 3,500 from the button and Sam Greenwood defended the big blind.

The 68K flop prompted Thorel to bet 3,500, after Greenwood checked. Greenwood made the call.

The 7 turn was checked again by Greenwood. Thorel bet 4,000 and Greenwood called.

The J river saw Greenwood check-call Thorel's 17,000 bet. Thorel showed 95 for the straight and Greenwood mucked his hand.
