Action was picked up with Farukh Tach all in and at risk versus the covering stack of Murilo Milhomem.
Farukh Tach: A♦K♦
Murilo Milhomem: 7♣7♥
Tach took the lead on the K♥Q♦4♠ flop and stayed ahead on the 3♥ turn. However, the 7♠ river gave Milhomem a set of sevens to stack Tach and claim his bounty chip.
The action was caught as Eduard Barsegian, in the cutoff, was all in and at risk for his effective stack of 235,000, against Jon Kyte, on the button.
Eduard Barsegian: A♠7♠
Jon Kyte: A♥9♦
The board ran out 5♦3♥9♠2♥Q♦; Kyte flopped a pair of nines, ensuring Barsegian was dead on the turn, sending him to the rail. With this pot, Kyte solidified himself as one of the largest stacks in the room.
Maria Konnikova opened 40,000 on the button and only Jose Nadal came along from the small blind.
When the A♦6♠4♠ flop hit the felt, Nadal checked to Konnikova who continued for 30,000. After about 10 seconds, Nadal put in a check-raise to 90,000 and that was enough to drag the pot.
Leo Margets raised to 40,000 from under the gun, the player in middle position called and Julien Sitbon, in the big blind, squeezed to 200,000.
Margets went deep into the tank before electing to four-bet jam for 775,000. The player in middle positon quickly got out of the way and Sitbon thought deeply about his decision. After exchanging some laughs with Margets as he did so, Sitbon finally chose to fold.
Yi Lin raised from early position, Xiaohu Liu three-bet to 150,000 from the big blind and Lin clicked it back to 300,000. Liu moved all in for 560,000 and Lin called.
Xiaohu Liu: A♠A♦
Yi Lin: K♥K♠
Liu was in a commanding lead but the 8♥Q♥8♦10♥ runout gave Lin outs to a flush. The 3♠ river didn't oblige and Liu doubled up, leaving Lin short.
