Sofocleous Rivers Trips, Gets Value From Nurmuhammedov and Eliminates Eremia

Niculae Eremia had shoved his stack of 5,200 into the middle preflop over an open, which both Parahat Nurmuhammedov and Christos Sofocleous called.

They went to a flop of K♥9♥5♠, which checked through to the 5♦ turn. Sofocleous fired 2,100, and Nurmuhammedov called.

A 9♠ landed on the river and again Sofocleous reached for chips, this time with a bet of 7,400. Nurmuhammedov looked to be in a tough spot and was indecisive for around a minute before he finally dropped in the call.

Sofocleous then showed A♦9♦ for trip nines, and Nurmuhammedov mucked. Eremia then flipped over his 6♥4♥, which sent him to the rail.

Koleznev Shoves the River on Senchylo

Both Iurii Senchylo and Dmitry Koleznev had put in 2,100 preflop and saw the flop of 3♠J♦3♥, where Senchylo fired 1,800, and Koleznev called.

A 10♥ dropped on the turn and Senchylo continued to fire with a bet of 4,500, again Koleznev called.

When the 2♠ completed the runout on the river, Senchylo slowed down with a check, and Koleznev shoved for 17,000. Senchylo went into the tank and after around two minutes, he settled on a fold.

Mustafa Simsek was seen dragging in a healthy pot from a player that had already vacated his seat.

The board read 3♠7♠6♦6♥10♥ and Simsek had 5♥4♦ in front of him for a flopped straight, and Miika Toyras' seat was empty with his A♥A♠ still exposed. The chips were counted out and Simsek had the covering stack, which Toyras was sent to the rail.

When the 10♦ landed on the turn, Sidelkovskiy shoved for around 16,000, and Okionomou snap-folded.

PokerStars Announces Inaugural Live Spin & Go Championship

PokerStars is bringing Spin & Go's to the live arena for the first time and you don't have long to wait to see them in action because The Spin & Go Championship debuts during the upcoming European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague festival.

The Spin & Go Championship is scheduled for December 14-15 and will see 81 players lock horns in three-handed tournaments and do battle for a slice of the €100,000 prize pool. Although the Spin & Go Championship field is invite-only, you can qualify for this ground-breaking event.

The 81-strong field consists of 74 PokerStars Spin & Go qualifiers plus seven yet-to-be-announced special guests. A series of Spin & Go leaderboards will award 33 seats to PokerStars dotcom players, 24 to Southern Europe (France and Spain) qualifiers and 17 to qualifiers in Italy.

With around 8,000 in the pot on a full board of 7♦A♥2♠8♦5♥, Alexandr Kilennikov had fired 2,600 on the river into Ankit Ahuja. After quite some time thinking it over, Ahuja eventually elected to call.

Kilennikov then showed A♦K♣ for top pair, and Ahuja knuckled the table to say nice hand, then mucked.

A full board of 10♣4♦K♦2♥3♣ was showing when Azizjon Rakhimov fired 800 on the river. In the next seat was Christopher Rossos who made a raise to 2,500, which got a quick fold from Mustafa Simsek, then Rakhimov thought for a few seconds before he called.

Rossos turned over a pair of sixes with 6♥6♣, but Rakhimov had the winner holding K♠5♥ for a pair of kings.
