Julien Arethuse opened to 60,000 from the cutoff and received calls from Vladislav Dubanov on the button, and Maksim Rogov and Dinesh Alt in the blinds.

On the Q77 flop, action was checked to Dubanov, who fired out a bet of 35,000. Rogov folded but Alt produced a check-raise to 125,000. Arethuse folded and Dubanov called.

The 2 rolled off on the turn, and Alt continued with the aggression, sliding out a bet of 165,000. After a lengthy period of thought, Dubanov called.

The K river completed the board, and Alt triple-barreled with a bet of 400,000, leaving himself around 150,000 behind. After at least three minutes of thought, Dubanov sent his hand into the muck.

Milbautas Leads River

Lyudmil Ivanov opened from under the gun to 60,000. Action folded around to Vytautas Milbutas who defended the big blind.

He check-called a bet of 40,000 on the monotone board of 245 before the 7 was checked around. On the Q river, Milbautas led for 175,000.

Ivanov tanked for a moment before folding.

Martinsson Plays it Passive

Andre Marquardt limped in from middle position and Samuel Fournier made it 115,000 from the hijack. Alf Martinsson called from the small blind, and Marquardt folded.

On the 32A flop, Martinsson check-called a bet of 70,000 from Fournier.

Both then checked to showdown on the 6 turn and 2 river, with Martinsson claiming the pot with a pair of aces holding AJ.

Pieter Theelen opened from cutoff to 60,000. Leo Worthington-Leese called in the small blind and Marian Virlanuta defended the big blind.

Both blinds checked the AA10 flop to Theelen who bet 30,000. Worthington-Leese folded before Virlanuta put in the check-raise to 75,000. Theelen called. The 6 turn was checked around, as was the 3 river.

Theelen tabled 109 for two pair and Virlanuta mucked.

Maeda and Arethuse Get Shoves Through

Akinobu Maeda had raised to 60,000 on the button when Georgios Tsouloftas made it 260,000 to go in the big blind. Maeda then jammed all in for 1,025,000.

Tsouloftas asked for a count but quickly folded upon hearing the correct number.

At an adjacent table, Peng Chen raised to 60,000 and was faced with a three-bet jam of 490,000 from Julien Arethuse. Chen let go of his cards as the pot was shipped to Arethuse uncontested.

On the 733 flop, Zamani check-raised to 105,000 versus a 50,000 bet from Quinn. Quinn quickly called.

On the Q river, Zamani continued with a bet of 200,000, leading to a quick fold from Quinn.

As he raked in the pot Zamani said, "I can't believe that worked, I'm saying to myself, what are you doing?" leading to a smile from Quinn.

They went to a flop of 432 where Ting check-called a bet of 100,000 from Lipp.

A 9 on the turn saw Ting go into check-call mode again when Lipp fired 205,000, then the 2 paired the board on the river. Ting thought for a while and led out for 250,000, and Lipp put in the call.

Ting tabled A2 for rivered trips, and Lipp, clearly frustrated, tossed his cards into the muck.

Gordo Falls Victim to Abelmasov's Late-Night Surge

Marian Virlanuta raised to 60,000 in the cutoff. Igor Abelmasov called in the small blind before Guillermo Gordo three-bet all in for 475,000 in the big blind.

Virlanuta quickly folded but Abelmasov threw in a call.
