Fokin Finds Aces
Nivel 16
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Valeriy Fokin open-jammed from the cutoff for 179,000. Joao Tomas asked for a count in the small blind and proceeded with a call. Fokin jumped up from his seat as the players showed down.
Valeriy Fokin: A♦A♣
Joao Tomas: A♥9♦
Fokin's rockets had Tomas drawing dead on the turn when 7♣4♠10♦3♥10♠ did nothing to help him.
He cheered with his fellow Russian and tablemate Alexander Zelbov as he raked in the double-up and stayed in contention for a cash.
