Romanello wasn’t backing down and responded with a five-bet to 16,100. Voronin raised the stakes again, firing back with a six-bet to 45,000. Instead of folding or going all in, Romanello surprised everyone with a seven-bet to 81,100.
After burning through a couple of time bank cards, Voronin decided to fold, handing the pot to Romanello before any community cards were revealed. Romanello commented that Voronin had tried to bluff him, though Voronin stayed quiet.
Juan Pardo raised to 2,000 from the cutoff. Action folded around to Grzegorz Kozieja who defended the big blind.
He checked the Q♥J♦3♣ flop to Pardo who bet 3,500. Kozieja called. He checked again on the 4♣ turn, prompting Pardo to size up to a bet of 14,700. Kozieja wasted little time in folding his holding.
Action was picked up on the turn of 10♦J♥K♠7♦. Sam Grafton was all in from the small blind for 15,100. Khamid Khudayberganov made the call from middle position.
