Mamut’s Aggression Forces Kartomi to Muck
Nivel 4
: Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Ray Qartomy found himself in the under-the-gun position and decided to limp in. Nikolai Mamut called, and Georgios Skarparis checked his big blind.
When the flop came down J♠8♥6♦, the action was checked around to Qartomy, who tossed out a bet of 1,000. Mamut responded with a raise to 3,300, and Qartomy was the only one to call.
Mamut kept the pressure on with a bet of 7,400 on the 3♦ turn, and Qartomy called again.
As the 2♠ hit the river, Mamut fired another 7,300. Qartomy took a moment to weigh his options but ultimately decided to fold, mucking his cards as he let the hand go.
