Popiolek Rides Roller Coaster to Exit
Nivel 20
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Levente Szabo had made a raise to 24,000 in the cutoff when Grzegorz Popiolek three-bet all in for 190,000 in the big blind.
Szabo aksed for a count and made the call shortly thereafter.
Grzegorz Popiolek: A♥8♣
Levente Szabo: A♣10♦
Popiolek was behind but took a big lead on the 3♣A♠8♥ flop. His two pair remained best on the 6♠ turn, but Szabo secured the pot on the 10♣ river, giving him a higher two pair and eliminating Popiolek.
