On a flop of 2♣3♣Q♠, Alexandre Henry committed his stack of over 20,000 to the pot, and was put at risk by Vadzim Godzdanker.

Henry was well in the lead but was stunned by the J♦ on the turn, which gave Godzdanker a firm grip on the pot. Only an ace on the river could save Henry, but instead the 7♦ rolled off, which meant he was eliminated.
Petre Ionescu, on the button, moved all in for approximately 19,000. Panagiotis Mavritsakis, in the big blind, made the call.

Ionescu was behind and the 2♦J♠4♥ flop proved no help. The 4♣ turn and 5♦ river changed nothing for Ionescu and he was sent to the rail.
Jon Vallinas and Jon Kyte checked a flop of A♥9♣Q♠ to Andrea Crobu in the cutoff. Crobu bet 3,000 which Vallinas called before Kyte check-shoved for 23,000. After a few moments, Crobu moved all in over the top and Vallinas snap-called with the covering stack.

Crobu and Vallinas had the same hand with top and bottom pair, while Kyte just had a straight draw. The 7♠ on the turn gave Vallinas a flush draw, but he couldn't find it on the 5♥ river. Kyte was eliminated as Crobu and Vallinas chopped up his stack.
Gonzalo Leal opened to 2,500 from early position and Michael Allen three-bet from the next seat to 7,500. Abdel-Hakim Khelifa called from the small blind, and Leal put in the extra chips once the action got back to him.
The three players saw a flop of 5♠3♠7♦ that checked through to the 3♦ turn, which also checked around.
When the 6♥ dropped on the river, Khelifa checked, and Leal fired 15,000. Allen thought for a few moments before he called, and Khelifa folded.
Leal then tabled a full house with 6♠6♣, and Allen knuckled the table and mucked.
David Kaufmann, in the small blind, moved all in for Konstantin Generalov's effective stack of 14,600, in the big blind. Generalov called.

The board ran out 5♠K♠9♣6♥10♠; Generalov's pair of nines were good by the river, keeping him alive.
Aren Bezhanyan raised to 2,500 from the button and Abdulgamid Gadzhiev called out of the small blind. Archibald Seaton shoved from the big blind for 32,000, which only Bezhanyan called.

Seaton just had to avoid a six or some hearts to double up. The runout of 3♠Q♠J♦5♠2♦ was clean for Seaton and his stack was increased to roughly 67,000.
The pot had already grown to approximately 38,000 with two players looking at a full board of 5♥10♦10♥7♦.
Danilo Velasevic, who was under the gun, bet out 11,000. Robert Heidorn, in middle position, made the call.
The Q♣ river saw Velasevic go into the tank before moving all in for approximately 45,000. Heidorn snap-called.

Both players seemed in good spirits and the pot was quickly chopped.
Another huge pot was brewing over at Table 8 between Konstantin Voronin and Ion-Silviu Scobai.
The full board read Q♣4♠2♥5♠8♠ and with around 80,000 already in the middle, Scobai fired 20,000 on the river. Voronin thought for a while and decided on a call.
Scobai tabled A♣K♠ for just ace-high. Voronin had the winner holding 6♥5♦ for a pair of fives.
"Thank you," said Voronin to Scobai, who replied with "You're welcome."
Samuel Ju busted earlier on the same table and reentered, then his seat was replaced with Aylar Lie.
