Fokin had to avoid a nine to stay alive in the event. The dealer put out a safe board for Nasiradinov's pocket kings as it came A♣8♣6♥3♣Q♠, and he doubled up.
Kemal Aslan raised to 100,000 from the button, Roman Timergazin three-bet jammed for Aslan's effective stack of 870,000, from the big blind, and Aslan called.

The 5♠K♥3♥ flop had Aslan out of his seat, while the 4♥ turn and 10♦ river prompted his exit.
Darius-Valentin Neagoe limped in from the small blind and Adrian Cazacu checked his option in the big blind. Neagoe fired for 55,000 on the A♠6♣3♥ flop and for 130,000 on the K♣ turn.
Cazacu called both times before the 2♠ river went check-check. Neagoe tabled 10♦9♥ for ten-high. Cazacu tabled Q♥4♥ for queen-high and chipped up a bit.
Andreas Frohli opened to 100,000 from the hijack and Nejat Erman shoved for 420,000 from the cutoff. After the rest of the table folded, Frohli made the call.

Erman was one of the shortest stacks left in the tournament and needed to hold if he wanted to remain in the event. However, the board ran out 10♠A♠9♠7♥7♦ to give Frohli the winner with a pair of tens, sending Erman out the door.
Fintan Hand was by far the shortest stack coming back from break, and he jammed in his stack of 145,000 from the button the first hand.
Michele Guerrini called off in the big blind, leading to a showdown.
