James took a big lead on the 6♠10♠K♣ flop and the 4♦ turn was of no help to Dimitrov. The J♦ river was not the ace he needed and he said his goodbyes to the table.
Adrian Cazacu raised from the cutoff, receiving calls from Roman Kolotiuk and Bobby James, on the button and in the big blind respectively.
James checked on the 5♦J♠6♣ flop. Cazacu continued for 65,000 and both players called.
The Q♦ turn saw the action checked to Cazacu, who sized up to 175,000. Kolotiuk folded and James called.
The 6♦ river slowly checked to a showdown. James rolled over J♣8♣, having flopped top pair, winning him this sizeable pot.
Big blind Hugues Mazerolle put 180,000 into a pot of 500,000 on a turn of J♠K♥8♠10♠. Simone Demasi called on the button, after which Mazerolle put him all-in for 590,000 on the J♣ river.
Demasi spent several minutes in the tank. Ultimately, he gave up the hand and left himself with about 24 big blinds.
