Ivan Pavlov got his stack of 1,350,000 in from the big blind against Andras Matrai in the small blind.

Pavlov flopped a combo draw on 10♠9♣K♣ and turned even more outs with the 9♠. The 3♠, however, changed nothing. Matrai's pair of fives held and eliminated Pavlov in 20th.
Hugues Mazerolle raised to 200,000 from the cutoff and Gediminas Uselis three-bet to 600,000 from the small blind. After a few moments, Mazerolle four-bet shoved to put Uselis all in. Uselis called.

Mazerolle had run into Uselis' nines and needed a king or some diamonds to but him. However, the runout of 10♠7♥10♣8♠Q♠ kept Uselis ahead with nines, and he doubled up.
Ivan Pavlov raised to 200,000 from under the gun, Michele Guerrini three-bet jammed for 1,650,000 from the button and Pavlov called.

Guerrini was behind until the K♠9♦3♥ flop saw him take the lead. The 8♣ turn and J♥ river saw Guerrini double up.
Juan Baraza limped in in the hijack, leaving only 60,000 behind. Santiago Nadal in the cutoff then raised all in for 510,000, after which the action folded back to Baraza.
He was given a 30-second countdown by the floor, at the end of which he called all in.

The 2♠7♠8♣2♥ turn brought some chop outs, but the J♦ river remained clean for Nadal to score the knockout, eliminating Baraza in 21st place.
Andras Matrai raised to 200,000 from the hijack and Ibrahim Ghassan defended in the big blind.
The Q♦6♥10♦ flop saw Ghassan open jam for 335,000. Matrai snap-called.

PokerStars listened to feedback from female poker players on how to draw women to the game, and now the poker site is responding.
The upcoming PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Las Vegas festival will feature a $330 buy-in Women's Event on Nov. 5. Notably, the event has a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool attached.
Last year's NAPT Women's Event had a $360 price tag and drew 94 entrants for a prize pool of $28,200. That means PokerStars is expecting this year's event to be an even greater success.
The Women's Event will get underway at 12:30 p.m. local time on Nov. 5 and allows for unlimited reentry. The event will feature 30-minute levels and will see players starting with stacks of 30,000.
The remaining players have been sent on a 20-minute break.
