Nashar Calls a Shove Blind; Leaves Pardo With Crumbs
Nivel 6
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Hassan Nashar opened to 12,000 from under the gun without looking at his cards and Juan Pardo three-bet to 90,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Nashar, who said, "You want to go to war?" and then called blind.
Nashar checked to Pardo on the Q♠7♣8♦ flop and he went all in. Nashar finally looked at his cards one by one. The first one he motioned was so-so, and he snap-called for 152,500 total after looking at the second card.
Hassan Nashar: Q♦9♠
Juan Pardo: A♣10♥
Nashar was well ahead with his queen, and the 6♣4♠ runout offered no help to Pardo, who was left with just 5,000 following the hand.
