Nivel 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Spin & Go Championship
Spin & Go Championship

PokerStars is bringing Spin & Go's to the live arena for the first time and you don't have long to wait to see them in action because The Spin & Go Championship debuts during the upcoming European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague festival.

The Spin & Go Championship is scheduled for December 14-15 and will see 81 players lock horns in three-handed tournaments and do battle for a slice of the €100,000 prize pool. Although the Spin & Go Championship field is invite-only, you can qualify for this ground-breaking event.

The 81-strong field consists of 74 PokerStars Spin & Go qualifiers plus seven yet-to-be-announced special guests. A series of Spin & Go leaderboards will award 33 seats to PokerStars dotcom players, 24 to Southern Europe (France and Spain) qualifiers and 17 to qualifiers in Italy.

$25,000 Super High Roller Warm-Up Gets Underway at 12:30 p.m.

The 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Cyprus rolls on today with the $25,000 Super High Roller Warm-Up, the second priciest event on the schedule. Only tomorrow’s $50,000 Super High Roller tops it. Cards hit the felt at 12:30 p.m. local time at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa.

Yesterday marked the first high roller event in EPT Cyprus, with the $20,000 Single-Day tournament running into the early hours of the morning. The main difference between that event and today’s, aside from the higher buy-in, is that the Super High Roller Warm-Up gives players a starting stack of 250,000 chips compared to 100,000 yesterday.

Last night, It was Ognyan Dimov who outlasted a tough field to claim the trophy and $253,876. Dimov did an ICM deal heads-up with Kayhan Mokri, but won a blind all-in flip to secure their second EPT title. A similar turnout is expected for today’s tournament, with everyone aiming to be the last player standing by the end.

The players hitting the felt today will start with 250,000 chips, playing through 30-minute levels until only one player is left standing. Those who are eliminated can reenter unlimited times, with registration staying open until the end of Level 8, with an expected 15% of the field making the money.

The tournament begins with blinds starting at 500/1,000 and a 1,000 big blind ante. Players will have 15 to 20-minute breaks during the event, with a 75-minute dinner break scheduled after Level 12.

A shot clock will be in place from the beginning of the event, with each player receiving six time-bank cards. Each card can gain an additional 30 seconds of thinking time. Players will also receive one extra time bank card at the start of every odd-numbered level.

Stay tuned as PokerNews will deliver live updates straight from the tournament floor, keeping you informed on all the action as it unfolds.
