James Gets Two Better Aces to Fold
Nivel 26
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Bobby James A♥J♣ raised to 100,000 from under the gun before Oliver Weis A♣Q♠ made it 285,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to James, who four-bet to 600,000, committing half of his stack. Weis let go of his better ace, and James took in the pot.
Marta Miquel Munoz A♥K♦ opened to 100,000 from under the gun and James A♣2♣ defended his big blind. Neither player connected on the J♣J♦4♠ flop and action checked through to the 8♠ turn. James check-raised to 225,000 over a bet of 80,000 and was called.
The Q♠ completed the board, and Miquel sealed the checkmark. However, Miquel folded the better hand after James fired out 490,000.
