On a flop of 6♠A♥10♥ with around 10,000 in the middle, both Nikolay Yosifov and Leonidas Kostagiolas checked it over to Ilija Savevski, who fired 3,000. Yosifov called, and Kostagiolas folded.

An A♦ paired the board on the turn, where both players checked through to the 10♣ river. Yosifov led out for 10,000, and Savevski thought for a while before he tossed in the call.

Yosifov showed 5♥4♥ for a busted flush draw and was playing the board, then Savevski tabled the winner with A♣7♥ for a full house.

Kirill Shcherbakov opened to 2,500 from under the gun and Yunkyu Song three-bet the small blind to 13,000. Evgenii Ushakov then shoved from the big blind for around 45,000, which got Shcherbakov to fold, then Song stood up and put his jacket on, slung his bag over his shoulder despite having the covering stack. Eventually, Song called.

Ushakov had found the light four-bet shove, but wasn't in as bad shape as he could have been, until the flop of 5♣K♥2♦ left him with on a glimmer of hope of survival. That glimmer turned into a brighter shine as the 6♦ on the turn gave Ushakov a flush draw, and then into a gleaming pot of gold when the 9♦ landed on the river as the Russian player completed his flush.

Song couldn't believe it and stared at the board in disbelief, then said "How do you find that shove?" — with no response.

"Where are you from?" asked Fahredin Mustafov. "Russia," replied Ushakov.

"Ahh, you don't care. You are super rich, yeah?" said Mustafov. Ushakov laughed it off and started to stack the chips he just won, which left him with almost 100,000.

Frankland Claws it Back With Triple Up

Mathew Frankland was all in preflop with a short stack in a raised pot and was called by David Karsenty and Stanislaw Grodek.

Karsenty and Grodek opted to check it all the way down on a board of 9♠J♦3♥3♦9♦ and players revealed their cards.

Grodek had A♣10♣ for ace high with the two pair on board. Karsenty had 7♥7♠ for two pair, nines and sevens. Frankland had A♦9♣ and made a full house, nines full of threes, to win the pot and triple up his short stack.

There was a small side pot of around 4,000, which went to Karsenty.

Victoria Livschitz opened to 2,500 from the cutoff, and was called by Alessio Isaia on the button and Mehmet Demirkol in the big blind.

On the 9♦8♥4♥ flop, action was checked to Isaia, who slid out a bet of 3,500. Demirkol folded but Livschitz stuck around.

The turn brought the 6♥ and Livschitz check-called versus a bet of 7,500.

The 9♣ river completed the board and was checked through. Livschitz tabled K♥5♥ for the king-high flush, and Isaia mucked.

Women's Event at NAPT Las Vegas Will Feature $30,000 Guarantee

PokerStars listened to feedback from female poker players on how to draw women to the game, and now the poker site is responding.

The upcoming PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Las Vegas festival will feature a $330 buy-in Women's Event on Nov. 5. Notably, the event has a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool attached.

Last year's NAPT Women's Event had a $360 price tag and drew 94 entrants for a prize pool of $28,200. That means PokerStars is expecting this year's event to be an even greater success.

The Women's Event will get underway at 12:30 p.m. local time on Nov. 5 and allows for unlimited reentry. The event will feature 30-minute levels and will see players starting with stacks of 30,000.

When the flop came J♦A♦4♥, two players checked, giving Schneiders the chance to make a continuation-bet of 2,000. Only Saar Wilf, sitting on the button, decided to stick around with a call.

On the J♥ turn, Schneiders bet again, but this time Wilf responded with a raise to 7,000. After a moment, Schneiders called.

The 3♦ river seemed to slow Schneiders down as he checked. Wilf capitalized with a bet of 12,500, which was enough to force Schneiders to send his cards into the muck.

Wei Spikes Set of Queens, Pavlenko Brings it Back on River

Yevhen Pavlenko and Guoliang Wei were in the midst of a raising battle and Wei had a reraise of 17,000 out in the middle. Pavlenko responded by moving all in for around 80,000 and Wei called. Players had quite similar stacks, but Wei was covered as the cards were turned.

The flop came K♦Q♣7♦ and the table let out a collective groan as Wei spiked a set of queens. The turn was a blank, the 5♦, but the river was the A♣ to give Pavlenko a set of aces.

Wows and cheers came from tablemates as the situation reversed. Pavlenko won the pot and Wei was eliminated from the tournament as the final break of the day approached.
