Tamm Folds to Stoyanov’s All-In Move

Nivel 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

When PokerNews arrived on the scene, a classic battle of the blinds was underway. Radoslav Stoyanov had built the pot up to 40,000 when Taago Tamm raised it to 85,000. Stoyanov responded by shoving all in for 415,000, putting Tamm in a tough spot. After burning through two of his time bank cards, Tamm ultimately chose to fold, giving up a solid pot to Stoyanov.

Nice Surprise for Miquel: No Split Pot

Nivel 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With about 50,000 already in the pot and the board displaying 10JQ7, Marta Miquel led with a bet of 41,000, prompting Bernhard Binder to make the call.

When the K hit the river, Miquel followed up with another bet, this time for 32,000, and Binder quickly called. However, Miquel's expression shifted as she revealed AK, likely anticipating a split pot after the king appeared on the river. To her surprise, Binder's cards went into the muck, allowing Miquel to scoop up the pot.

Mhiri Spikes the River to Bust Spragg; Camarda Calls Him Down With Ace-High

Nivel 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Benjamin Spragg
Benjamin Spragg

Chakib Mhiri just busted Team PokerStars Pro Benjamin Spragg thanks to a lucky river, and he and tablemate Alexandre Vuilleumier filled in the details.

Spragg three-bet to 50,000 in the small blind and Mhiri called on the button. The flop came Ax7x5x with two hearts and Spragg bet 40,000. Mhiri called and Spragg moved all in on the turn for 140,000.

Mhiri called with ace-jack, but Spragg had him dominated with ace-king until a jack arrived on the river to earn Mhiri the pot and send Spragg to the rail.

Mhiri also got involved in the next hand, betting 12,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 1063 and Salvatore Camarda called in the big blind.

The turn was the Q and Mhiri bet another 35,000. Camarda again called to the 10 river, where Mhiri bet 25,000. Camarda called once more and Mhiri showed K9 for a bluff. Camarda turned over AJ for ace-high as he took the pot.
