Ognyan Dimov raised from under the gun and called when Steve O’Dwyer three-bet to 45,000 from the button.

Dimov opted to not play in flow, and led out for 22,000 on the 7♠6♣5♠ flop. O’Dwyer called.

Dimov sized up to 65,000 on the Q♠ turn, and again O’Dwyer stuck around. The J♠ river put four-to-a-flush on the board and Dimov fired a third barrel of 75,000. O’Dwyer used a couple of time banks while he mulled over options, ultimately settling on a call.

Dimov was bluffing with A♦3♦, and O’Dwyer tabled K♥K♦ for a pair of kings to take the pot.

Pardo paired up on the 9♥8♥6♥ flop but remained behind. The 3♦ turn and the Q♣ river gave Vaskaboinikau the checkmark and the defending champion bowed out.

Mokri Leaves Defending Champion Short

Ren Lin opened to 12,000 from under the gun and Juan Pardo called from the big blind. The 8♣8♦2♦ flop checked through to the 2♥ turn. Pardo fired out 40,000.

"I believe you, I don't know why," said Lin as he conceded the pot.

On the next deal, Kayhan Mokri opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and called when Pardo three-bet to 65,000.

Pardo put Mokri all-in on the 7♠6♠2♣ flop and Mokri put in his last 69,000.

Pardo was miles ahead with his pocket queens and removed some of Mokri's outs after he turned a flush draw on the 5♠ turn. Mokri, now with an open-ended straight draw, sealed the checkmark on the 4♣ river to double up and stun the table.

Grafton Surrenders to Chaoui's Pressure

Sam Grafton and Mehdi Chaoui went to the turn on a board of 8♠6♣J♠6♦ when Chaoui bet 27,000 from the cutoff. Grafton called in the big blind.

The river was the 2♦ and Chaoui moved all in, having Grafton's remaining 170,000 covered. Grafton tanked for several minutes until folding his hand as Chaoui took in the pot.

Heads-up on a flop of 10♥4♦6♠, Vicente Delgado bet 65,000 from the big blind and Vladimir Korzinin called in the hijack.

Delgado checked the Q♣ turn and Korzinin moved all in for 220,000. Delgado called with K♥10♠ for a pair of tens, while Korzinin was on a straight draw holding A♦K♠.

The J♣ fell on the river and Korzinin reached across the table to shake Delgado's hand. "You're welcome," he said as he got up from his seat, but the table informed him that he had won the pot by making his straight on the river.

"F**k me sideways," Korzinin said as he sat back down.

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau had just taken a pot off Kayhan Mokri in a blind on blind battle, leaving the latter with a sub-20 big blind stack.

Vaskaboinikau was back in action on the next deal, opening to 14,000 from the button and went into the tank after Vladimir Korzinin jammed for around 280,000 from the big blind.

Vaskaboinikau opted to preserve his stack, saying "Next time, I gamble," as he open-folded 6x6x. Korzinin took in the pot and then tabled 9x6x which drew a few laughs and gasps from the table. Ren Lin was a fan of the move and reached over the table to give the Estonian a fist bump.

Biao Ding and Dimitar Danchev built a pot of around 100,000 as they went heads-up to a 10♣5♣3♥ flop. Danchev then bet 13,000 under the gun and Ding called in the hijack.

Danchev checked the J♥ turn and Ding bet 125,000, enough to put Danchev all in. Danchev let out a deep sigh before sliding his cards into the muck.

At another table, Vicente Delgado and Juan Pardo went heads-up to the turn on a board of 3♠7♥7♠5♥ and around 160,000 in the pot. Pardo then bet 35,000 from the big blind and Delgado moved all in from the hijack. Pardo quickly folded.

Morten Klein opened to 13,000 second to act and Aleksejs Ponakovs called from the big blind. Ponakovs check-called for 13,000 on the Q♥8♣7♦ flop but folded to a bet of 46,000 on the 6♥ turn.

The following hand, Ponakovs was all-in and at risk for his last 103,000 from the small blind with Qx9x. Lewis Spencer, in the big blind, woke up with A♦K♣. Ponakovs failed to improve on the runout and became the first casualty of the day.

Zubov's Big Bet Gets Paid by Suvarna

Alexander Zubov raised to 12,000 in the cutoff, Santhosh Suvarna three-bet to 56,000 in the big blind, and Zubov called.

Suvarna continued for 27,000 on the 9♣8♦5♥ flop and Zubov called. Suvarna slowed down and checked the 6♣ turn, Zubov bet 42,000, and Suvarna called.

Suvarna checked again on the 9♥ river and Zubov bet 175,000. Suvarna used up several time banks until he eventually called and Zubov showed 10♦9♦ for trip nines to win the big pot.
