Rizov was ahead but the jack-high J53 flop moved Wellen into the lead. The turn 5 and 6 bricked for Rizov and he was eliminated.

Martin Wins Without a Showdown

Radek Castka opened to 1,200 from early position and was called by Younes Bahiaoui in the hijack, Guillaume Martin in the cutoff, and Yaniv Ben-Ezra in the big blind.

Ben-Ezra checked to Castka, who bet 1,000 on the KK9 flop. Bahiaoui and Martin called, but Ben-Ezra folded.

Castka slowed down and checked on the 7 turn, prompting a 2,500 bet from Bahiaoui. Martin called and Castka folded.

The Q filled the river and Bahiaoui check-folded facing a 5,800 bet from Martin, awarding him the sizable pot.

Mifsud's Overbet Gets Paid

On a board of JQ83 there were almost 4,000 chips in the pot when Yoav Mermelstein checked and Brandon Mifsud fired 2,400. Waldemar Peter called, and Mermelstein folded.

When the 3 dropped on the river, Mifsud grabbed three blue chips, worth 5,000 each, and threw them into the pot. Peter then went into the tank for around two minutes and didn't seem to know where he was, but eventually he flicked in a call.

Mifsud then showed KQ for top pair, and Peter mucked.

Grasu Eliminated by Swart

Andries Swart raised to 1,200 and was three-bet by Detlef Christen. Niculina Grasu then four-bet shoved for 13,300. Swart then five-bet all in for 39,000 and Christen folded.

Two players were facing a board of K4564 with 10,000 in the pot.

Dimitar Petkin-Iwanov was in the cutoff when he made a small bet of 4,000 on the river. Pawel Wojciechowski who was in the small blind raised Petkin-Iwanov to 16,000.

Around 1 minute passed before Petkin-Iwanov made the call tabling K10 and Wojciechowski tabled 63.

Weiser Sends Toth to the Rail

Arpad Toth opened to 1,000 on the button and was called by Ivan Khainatskyi in the small blind and Christian Weiser in the big blind.

It was checked to Toth on the Q48 flop and he continued for 1,000. Khainatskyi folded and Weiser called.

Weiser led out for 2,000 after the 8 paired the board on the turn and Toth raised to 5,000. Undeterred, Weiser made it 14,000 to go and Toth called.

The A completed the board and Weiser quickly announced he was all in. Toth called all in for approximately 25,000 and Weiser showed A8 for a full house.

Toth held KQ for the nut flush and wished his tablemates good luck before exiting the tournament area.

Swart Curious Over Osoba's Small Sizing

A full board of A9665 was already showing with almost 20,000 in the middle when Andries Swart checked and Tomas Osoba fired 5,500.

"Why so small?" asked Swart. Osoba responded with "I don't speak good English," as Swart continued to think it over.

After around a minute, Swart elected to lay it down, and Osoba took the pot.

Former chip leader Phil Gross' stack had slipped back to 56,000, but still remained comfortably above average.

Meanwhile, on a board of 1010J79 at the same table, Petter Sommer had bet 8,000 into a pot of 7,500. His opponent Remy Beland then shoved for 31,500 and Sommer promptly called.

The first, [Removed:496] bet 5,000 into a pot of 11,000. His opponent Kamil Spaczynski then moved all in, with Sopotnytskyi calling for his last 28,100.

Spaczynski tabled KJ, playing the board for an ace-high straight, but Sopotnytskyi had turned a flush with 75 and took down the pot.
