Flush Over Flush: Rasmussen Doubles Up

Nivel 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

PokerNews picked up the action on a board of 9A434, where Rasmus Rasmussen had already fired a bet of 6,000 from the cutoff following a check from Maximilian Monch in the big blind.

Monch deliberated for a while before shoving all in, comfortably covering Rasmussen. After some careful thought, rechecking his cards, and calculating his stack, Rasmussen made the call, setting up a dramatic showdown.

Confidently, Monch declared, “Flush!” as he revealed 72. However, Rasmussen had him beat, turning over Q10 for a higher flush. The call secured a crucial double-up for Rasmussen, leaving Monch visibly frustrated and shaking his head.
