Kotoumpas More Than Doubles Up

Nivel 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Georgios Kotoumpas opened the action to 2,500 from early position, and Marcel Lopko called from his direct left. When the action reached Fintan Gavin in the small blind, he put out a three-bet of 7,900, and both of his opponents called.

With more than 25,000 in the middle, the flop came out 2♦J♠K♣, and Gavin continued his aggression with a bet of 5,500. Kotoumpas and Lopko both called.

The turn brought the 10♦, and this time Gavin checked. Kotoumpas announced all in, and Lopko snap called. Gavin quickly folded.

The turn gave Lopko two pair, but Kotoumpas hit a straight, which held up as the winning hand after the dealer revealed the 7♦ on the river and Kotoumpas scooped the massive pot.

Aletras Takes On Two

Nivel 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Luc van der Beek raised to 2,100 from the cutoff, Iakovos Aletras called on the button, as did Iman Gazorishandiz, in the big blind.

The 3♥2♦8♠ flop saw the action check to Van der Beek, who continued for 2,500. Aletras quickly responded with a raise to 6,200 and Gazorishandiz stepped aside.

Van der Beek rechecked his cards before also choosing to surrender the pot.

Derwiche Raises Turn

Nivel 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Imad Derwiche opened from the hijack to 2,000. Laurent Chenet called on the button and Isabella Costa defended the big blind.

The K♦A♣8♦ flop was checked around before Costa led for 3,000 on the 4♠ turn. Derwiche quickly raised to 11,000. Chenet folded, as did Costa. She showed the K♥ as Derwiche took the pot.

Salvatore Runs Into Rockets

Firoz Mangroe opened from under the gun to 2,000. Giovanni Salvatore moved all in for 57,800 from the cutoff. Action folded around to Mangroe who called.

The 7♦6♥5♦ gave both players a sweat but the J♣ turn and Q♣ river ensured the double up for Mangroe.

Sandoof Puts Maximum Pressure on Pineau

Yann Pineau opened to 2,000 from middle position, and Karl Sandoof responded with a three-bet to 5,500 from his direct left. The action folded back to Pineau, who made the call.

The dealer revealed a flop of K♣8♠3♠, and Pineau checked. Sandoof continued the aggression with a bet of 2,700, which Pineau called.

The turn brought the 2♣, and after Pineau checked, Sandoof put the pressure on by moving all in for his effective stack of 18,000. Pineau took some time to think it over, but ultimately decided to fold.

Costly Mistake for Cebrat

Christiaan Coppoolse raised to 1,700 from middle position and Koyes Miah, in the hijack, three-bet to 4,600. Przemyslaw Cebrat, in the small blind, placed 1,700 across the line, thinking he was only calling Coppoolse's raise and was unaware of the three-bet in place.

The floor ruled Cebrat could either surrender the 1,700 or call Miah's three-bet; he chose to do the latter.

Coppoosle elected to move all in for around 35,000, earning two quick folds.

Sharma Catches Basta Bluffing

Nivel 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Kanchan Sharma opened from the cutoff to 1,500. John Basta then three-bet on the button to 8,000. The blinds folded and Sharma called after a moment in the tank.

She check-called a bet of 6,500 on the flop of J♠5♠6♦. She was then put all in for around 25,000 on the 7♥ turn. She flicked in a chip and the players showed down.

Basta couldn't improve on the 10♦ river and Sharma doubled up with a pair of jacks.

Costa Shows the Goods

The pot stood at around 13,000 with two players looking at a board of 8♦3♦K♠8♣.

Isabella Costa, in the big blind, checked the action to Emmanouil Vagianos, who was under the gun. Vagianos bet out 6,400 and Costa check-raised to 16,000. Vagianos was forced to fold.

Costa raked in the pot, flashing the 8♠ for trips to the table.
