Kuznetcov Makes the Right Call

Nivel 6 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nikita Kuznetcov opened to 4,000 first to act and was called by Viacheslav Buldygin from directly behind and Morten Klein in the big blind for a three-way pot.

Klein checked to Kuznetcov, who continued for 3,000 on the A7A flop. Buldygin called and Klein folded.

Both players checked on the 5 turn and then Kuznetcov bet 14,000 on the 4 river.

Buldygin responded with a raise to 36,000, sending Kuznetcov deep into the tank. After using up several time extensions, Kuznetcov tossed in a call and Buldygin immediately sent his hand into the muck.

Kuznetcov claimed the pot without showing his hand.

Klein's Overbet Gets Called

Niklas Astedt opened to 4,500 from under the gun. Teun Mulder called in the hijack and Morten Klein called in the cutoff.

Astedt checked the 655 flop to Mulder who bet 5,000. Klein called and Astedt folded. The 10 was checked around and Mulder checked again on the 4 river. Klein then bet 30,000. Mulder used a time bank before calling. Klein showed J5 for trip fives and Mulder mucked.

Buldygin Calls Mulder's River Raise

Teun Mulder opened from the cutoff to 4,000. Viacheslav Buldygin defended the big blind.

He check-called a bet of 3,500 on the flop of 5A6. Both players checked the 4 turn before Buldygin bet 2,000 on the 7 river. Mulder then raised to 11,000. Buldygin used most of his 30 seconds before calling.

Mulder tabled K9. Buldygin showed A10 and pointed to his head to indicate he made a good call.

"Smart" said Nikita Kuzentcov, to which Buldygin replied, "genius".

Camosci check-called a 7,000 bet from Astedt on the 22Q flop and then both players checked down on the 3 turn and 10 river.

Camosci tabled 88 for eights-up, but it they were no good against Astedt's 99 for nines-up.
