Morten Klein Eliminated in 2nd Place (€90,000)
Nivel 17
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Thomas Santerne limped on the button and Morten Klein checked his option.
Both players checked on the 9♥9♦6♦ flop and then Klein led out for 40,000 on the K♦ turn. Santerne raised to 140,000, which was met with a shove from Klein for approximately 700,000 total. Santerne quickly called to put Klein at risk and hands were revealed.
Morten Klein: 9♣8♥
Thomas Santerne: J♦10♦
Klein had run into Santerne's flush, but still had outs to a full house for the double up.
It wasn't meant to be, however, as the A♦ river bricked out — eliminating Klein in second place and ending the tournament.
