Carbo Shows Top Pair as Vrakas Correctly Checks Back River
Nivel 17
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
There were already around 75,000 chips in the pot on a 2♥4♥4♦ flop between Gerard Carbo from under the gun and Georgios Vrakas in the next seat when they both decided to check the flop.
On the Q♣ turn, Carbo checked and Vrakas fired 40,000. After taking some time, Carbo slid forward the chips to call.
A 5♣ dropped on the river and after Carbo checked, Vrakas took his time before he eventually knuckled back.
Carbo then revealed A♦Q♠ for top pair, top kicker, and Vrakas will be glad he checked back the river as he mucked.
