Runcan Extends His Lead

Pedro Marques made it 600,000 to go from the button and Paul Runcan defended from the big blind.
On the Q♦6♦5♣ flop, Runcan checked and Marques bet 425,000. Runcan flicked in the call.
A 7♦ landed on the turn and after Runcan tapped the table again, Marques bet 1,675,000. Runcan used a time bank before he slid in a raise of 4,000,000. Marques had just over 8,000,000 remaining in his stack, and after a short time, elected to call.
The 10♣ dropped on the river and Runcan debated for a while before he checked, and Marques quickly checked back.
Runcan tabled J♦4♦ for a flush, beating the A♣Q♠ of Marques.
Runcan now holds more than double the combined chip stacks of both Park and Marques!
