Action was on the turn on a board of 2♣A♠8♣K♥ and all of Vincent Meli's chips went into the middle. He was up against Gab Yong Kim, who had him covered.
Kim turned over Q♣J♣ for a flush draw and backdoor straight draw. Meli had A♥K♣ for two pair, aces and kings.
The river came the Q♠ and Meli held to win the pot, doubling up his stack.

The dealer revealed a flop of 7♣7♥10♥, and Kalil continued with a bet of 6,000. Wojciechowski check-raised to 18,000, and after some thought, Kalil made the call.
The turn brought the 5♣, and Wojciechowski continued his aggression with a bet of 51,000, which Kalil called.
The 4♣ completed the board, and Wojciechowski decided to check. Kalil slid 55,000 into the pot, prompting Wojciechowski to fold.

On a board of 10♥K♦Q♣2♥, there were around 80,000 chips in the middle when Kenny Burke got his stack of 125,000 in the middle, and was put at risk by Maksim Vaskresenski.
Kenny Burke: K♠Q♦
Maksim Vaskresenski: A♠A♦
Burke had flopped two pair to get his nose in front of the aces, but still needed to fade the river card in order to survive and double up. The British player actually improved to a full house on the K♣ river, which secured him the pot and a stack of around 330,000.

Following an open raise to 10,000 from early position, Jakub Cihar three-bet to 32,000, then Luka Sorainen four-bet to 57,000.
Andrei Konopelko went deep into the tank, or so it seemed. He looked like he was giving the hand serious thought as the dealer took all six of his time bank cards, one by one. After his last time bank was taken, the dealer folded Konopelko's hand, which woke him up a bit. As it happened, Konopelko hadn't realised he was in the hand.
Action was back on Cihar, who called Sorainen's four-bet. The flop came 4♦9♦10♣ and Cihar checked. Sorainen bet 29,000 and Cihar folded his hand to give Sorainen the pot.

Daniel Johnson had opened from the cutoff and got called by Barak Oz on the button & Luka Bojovic in the big blind.
They went to a flop of 3♠Q♥5♠ where Bojovic and Johnson checked, then Oz fired 14,000. Bojovic and Johnson called.
A 2♦ on the turn was checked through, as was the J♥ river.
"Ace-high," said Bojovic, which was no good as Johnson tabled J♠7♠ for a pair of jacks. However, Oz had K♣J♣ for a pair of jacks with a better kicker to claim the pot.

On the first hand of Day 3, there was already an all-in and a call at table #11, with Christian Rudolph’s tournament life on the line.
Christian Rudolph: A♣A♥
Yauheni Tsiareshchanka: A♠K♦
Rudolph found himself on the right side of the cooler, while Tsiareshchanka needed significant help from the board. The dealer spread a flop of 9♥K♠2♣, giving Tsiareshchanka a glimmer of hope, but the 6♦ turn and 2♥ river provided no further improvement. Tsiareshchanka was left with just two big blinds.
