Dmitrii Kopyl just shoved the turn on a board of 9♣K♥K♣7♦ with around 160,000 in the middle from the cutoff. His opponent on the button had around 140,000 remaining and opted to fold, allowing Kopyl's stack to grow to around 500,000.

Andrey Pateychuk is seated at the same table and has around 900,000 in his stack. Pateychuk sits 10th on Russia's all-time money list with over $6,000,000 in live tournament earnings, including a Main Event victory at a Merit Poker series in 2018!

Both watched the 4♥9♦2♥ flop hit the felt and Chen led out for 18,000. Michaud called.

A second bet came in from Chen on the 9♥ turn, this time for 26,000. In a flash, Michaud released his cards, and Chen added some valuable chips to his stack.

Mukhamedaminov fired a continuation-bet of 21,000 on the 9♦7♦5♣ flop, and Zainescu called.

When the 5♥ fell on the turn, Mukhamedaminov asked for a count of Zainescu’s remaining chips. Seeing she had roughly 90,000 behind, Mukhamedaminov bet 46,000. Zainescu responded by moving all in, and Mukhamedaminov snap-called.

Hajj took the lead on the 5♠Q♠A♠ flop but Cvetkovic had plenty of outs after picking up a flush draw. The 8♠ dropped on the turn which ended the hand as Cvetkovic made his flush, ending Hajj's tournament.

A meaningless K♣ dropped on the river for an extra bit of salt in the wound for Hajj, and Cvetkovic's stack grew to around 1,300,000.

Orman Wins a Flip, Tuna Misses an Opportunity

Akin Tuna just made a fold that he wasn't too pleased about as he would have eliminated two opponents!

Tuna made it 12,000 to go from early position and Ori Elul called in the next seat before Leonid Orman squeezed from the big blind to 62,000. Tuna made the call, then Elul back-raised all in for 254,000. Orman called off his stack of 210,000, and Tuna made a reluctant fold.

Orman was at risk and behind, needing to find some help from the board in order to survive. He didn't find it on the 6♥3♥9♠ flop, but Tuna seemed unimpressed as he said he folded pocket nines and would have flopped a set. Salvation did arrive for Orman on the K♥ turn as he made top pair, and Elul couldn't find his two-outer when the 8♥ dropped on the river.

Tsouloftas' Stack Passes Two Million

Arriving at the table, there was roughly 40,000 in the middle and a board showing 9♣6♠4♦. From middle position, Lyudmil Ivanov had bet 16,000, and Georgios Tsouloftas had check-raised to 41,000 out of the big blind. Ivanov called, leaving himself around 140,000 behind heading to the turn.

The turn brought the 7♣, and Tsouloftas moved all in, sliding forward a stack of white T-25,000 chips to put Ivanov at risk. Ivanov quickly folded, and Tsouloftas took down the pot.

Milos Skrbic came in with a raise to 12,000 from the hijack only to be three-bet by Dmitrii Kopyl on the button to 33,000. Skrbic called to see a flop.

Skrbic chose to check-call a bet of 18,000 from Kopyl on the 8♦6♠2♠ flop.

The two players checked the 4♠ turn to see the K♠ land on the river. Skrbic led out for 45,000, which Kopyl called. Skrbic instantly mucked his cards, which meant Kopyl pulled in the pot without having to reveal what he called the river with.
