Soverel Makes Big Call on the River
Nivel 27
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Sam Soverel raised to 120,000 on the button and Nicholas Seward called in the small blind.
The flop came A♣2♥A♥ and Seward check-called a bet of 100,000 from Soverel.
The J♥ turn went check-check, bringing the 8♦ river. Seward checked for a third time and Soverel bet 280,000. Seward then raised to 1,320,000 prompting Soverel to go into the tank.
After using several time bank cards, Soverel made the call and tabled J♦7♥ for two pair, aces and jacks, besting the 5♠5♥ of Seward.
