Orefice Bombs the River on Hsu; Samson Hero Calls Honkonen

Alessandro Orefice and Chinchia Hsu went to the turn on a board of A♣4♦K♥J♣ where Orefice bet 225,000 from middle position. Hsu called in the big blind.

The river was the Q♥ and Orefice bet 500,000. Hsu spent a few minutes in the tank but eventually folded as Orefice took the pot.

At the same time at another table, Daniel Samson and Charles Honkonen built a pot of around 400,000 as they went to the river on a board of 4♣9♦K♠3♦7♥. Honkonen then moved all in from the button.

Samson took his time before calling for 750,000 as Honkonen showed A♦5♦ for a bluff. Samson slammed down K♣3♣ for two pair as he doubled up.

"At least you got him to tank with it," a tablemate consoled Honkonen, who was left on a short stack.

"Not really," Honkonen replied.
