Orefice Bombs the River on Hsu; Samson Hero Calls Honkonen

Nivel 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Alessandro Orefice and Chinchia Hsu went to the turn on a board of A4KJ where Orefice bet 225,000 from middle position. Hsu called in the big blind.

The river was the Q and Orefice bet 500,000. Hsu spent a few minutes in the tank but eventually folded as Orefice took the pot.

At the same time at another table, Daniel Samson and Charles Honkonen built a pot of around 400,000 as they went to the river on a board of 49K37. Honkonen then moved all in from the button.

Samson took his time before calling for 750,000 as Honkonen showed A5 for a bluff. Samson slammed down K3 for two pair as he doubled up.

"At least you got him to tank with it," a tablemate consoled Honkonen, who was left on a short stack.

"Not really," Honkonen replied.
